DACC's May 2007 Feature Car

When I was 16 years old, the '57 Chevy had just come out.  It was an immediate love connection between man and machine - and it continues today for me.  I have had several '57 Chevys over the years including station wagons to a 210 sedan that was my drag race car which I won the 'Hot Rod Class' at the AHRA drags at Green Valley Raceway in 1970.  I stopped racing and bought a '57 Chevy Bel Air two door hardtop that was my daily driver.  Since then I have bought and sold several '57's and regretted selling every one of them!  When I found my current '57 I decided to make a show and go car out of it and needless to say I plan to never sell this one!
